About Me

When an Indian asks me, 'where in India are you from' its a very difficult situation for me. Both my parents are South Indians but for most parts lived in Delhi. We hail from a small town (then) a border town between the state of Tamil Nadu and the state of Kerala. At home, we speak a language that uniquely combines Tamil (Tamil Nadu) and Malayalam (Kerala). So we never truly belonged to either of the states although the town is now officially part of Kerala. But for all practical purposes we were 'Delhi-ites.' But, we called (an East Indian state) Jharkhand our hometown. My husband comes from the Hindi heartland of India (state of Uttar Pradesh). To cut a long story short, I tell people, "I'm an Indian, the rest does not matter."

I was born, completed my education and started my career in Delhi. Moved to Bangalore mainly for work but to also experience 'Southern India.' I have experienced life in all Indian metropolitan cities and have traveled widely.

To feed my spirit of adventure, curiosities and quest to experience new cultures I moved to Germany for all this and work.

My life is and has always been extremely multi-cultural and multi-national. Despite its complexities, I enjoy 'diversity.'
